Spring is coming, but not soon enough

Hello everyone,

I'm so looking forward to spring; no more snow, warmer weather, and cute fashion. Today I had some time to waste, so I visited a few of my favourite clothing websites to check out the new spring and summer trends. As you may or may not know, I'm not real big on following trends because I often like to wear what I want, when I want to. However, I did see some nice items that most people could easily make their own. Here are some of the spring and summer trends of 2011 that I'm personally excited about.

Bold colours, patterns, neutrals, high waisted pants, at knee or below the knee skirts, maxi dresses, cropped tops, light weight dress shirts, bell bottoms and biker fashion are just some of the items that you may see this spring. So stay tuned for upcoming spring fashion.

BRRR it's cold out there!!!

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've last posted anything.  Unfortunately, I've been so busy with work and my online course that I have had little time to update. Also, the winter weather has definitely been an uninspiring season for me; its so cold here in Toronto and the surrounding areas that all I want to do is be in my bed. However, recently I was forced to brave the weather in order to run some errands. I came up with this casual, warm and comfortable outfit. The key piece is the textured vest which I instantly fell in love with from a boutique store called spoof101. What I loved about the vest was that it was unique and cheap.

Outfit information:
Jacket: Aritzia, Vest: Spoof101, Jeans: Papaya, Boots: Zara, Scarf: Urban Behaviour, Black Shirt: Blue Notes, Belt: thrifted, ring: ?

Sincerely Miss J
