Snake Skin and Checkers

Hey Everyone,

Happy Tuesday!! I am back with another outfit post which is pretty simple, neutral, and great for the cold spring weather. I love incorporating whites into outfits, particularly during the spring and summer months because it's bright and fresh looking. I actually love white and have used it in a majority of my room decor. I know what your thinking how weird. However, if you get past the dirt factor, it's really convenient as a backdrop for anything.

I decided to pair the white blazer that I got at Zara with a snake skin print dress, leather bag, and a checkered patterned pair of heels. The combination gives interest but isn't overwhelming to the eye, due to the use of similar colour palettes and neutral tones.

I love the dress and have worn it many times. Unfortunately it was purchased a long time ago so it is no longer available in stores. The dress can be worn layered like above or by itself like how I wore it below.

The above picture was taken months ago, but I had completely forgotten about  them until I saw them on my computer while preparing this post. The fuchsia necklace was purchased at Icing, and the clutch at Burlington Coat Factory. The heels were thrifted.

Hope you enjoy the post
Until Next time,
Sincerely Miss J

Walking highlighter

Hello Everyone,

I have decided to add new posts every Tuesdays and Fridays, so please check back on those following days. The weather seems to be warming up a bit, however there are still periods of rain, chilly mornings and nights mixed with humid afternoons. Therefore, coordinating appropriate attire for the weather lately has become an impossible task.

With the highly anticipated summer approaching, I decided to step away from my monochromatic netural color palette and invite  some neon pink pants that I purchased at H&M to come out and shine.  Though they seem difficult to work with they are actually quite versatile!

The key to wearing bright or patterned pants is to keep the rest of the items neutral or muted. However, if you are feeling adventurous just skip the neutral or muted colors and continue with more bold patterns or colors!

Until Tuesday
Sincerely Miss J

Is anybody out there, hello blog world!

Hello everyone,

Its been a long time since I made a blog post. I have been trying to keep up with all the things weighing on me in the real world and had to take a break from the blog world. However, I have missed you all.

I have come back to ensure you  that I am back to stay for now.
Today, I have a outfit of the day that is modest and business like. Shout out to all my executive ladies, this is perfect for the office and can transition into night also by removing the cardigan or blazer (if you choose to wear a blazer instead)

I purchased this dress at Zara on sale for $20 last season, and it has proven to be a classic item in my closet that I can reach for, for many seasons to come.

The weather has been a bit unpredictable, on this particular day it was a bit cold.

Come back soon!!

Outfit Information: Cardigan & Belt: Dynamite, Dress: Zara, Bag & Heels: thrifted
