The Cord Sweater

Hello everyone, it's that time of year again, it's time to bring out the sweaters and jackets. However, for me it's also that time of year, where I can frolic around with layers of clothing and no one can say a thing. I always have the tendency to layer clothing throughout the year because I'm always so cold. Even a breeze has me running for cover because I'm freezing. Today's outfit features a cord sweater which I got at Goodwill, and have been wearing a lot these last few days. It came in handy layered on top of a denim shirt and dark washed denim jeans. It's a simple, causal outfit that anyone can achieve.

Pretty Pleats

Hello everyone! It's only Wednesday and I'm already feeling like my brain is about to explode. Even as I write this, I'm trying hard to retain all the information and readings that I have been doing for school. So, I always find joy in being able to switch the subject, to something more pleasant such as fashion, and this pleated skirt. I scored the skirt at Winners when I was there a few weeks ago, it was the pleats that did it for me. Hope you guys enjoy the look.

The slow Transition

Hello everyone, I am back with another outfit of the day. The weather here has been a bit unpredictable, so dressing appropriately is very challenging. It's cold and then it's hot. I have been multitasking lately with school, work, and placement. However, I will always find time to keep up with the blog.
Although, its after labor day, I'm still going to wear white. That's right I'm a rule breaker! So, I broke the rules and wore white pants to transition myself into the fall season. I paired a cute snake print button up that I got at Winners  with neutrals to give it more of a Fall look. Hope you enjoy the look.
P.S I got bangs, I love them but I always feel like something is constantly in my eye so not sure how long that will last for.

Plaid and Leather

Hello beautiful people. I hope everyone  is enjoying life and doing well. Today's outfit plays on a few emerging trends for fall, such as plaid and leather. It can be dressed up or down depending on how you choose to style your hair and accessories. Want a more polished and formal look, try putting your hair up in a sleek bun or sleeked back. Want a carefree but chic look, try leaving your hair down or in a messy ponytail or bun. The options are endless.

There is something about this outfit combo I just love, and find interesting. It's indeed monochromatic in red, but it works really well due to the use of different textures and patterns. The plaid shirt adds a little pattern and adds texture with the cotton, alongside the leather and patent leather. All these items were found already in my closet, and is a perfect outfit to welcome in the Fall.
