Hello!!!

Hello Everyone, I thought I would come on here quickly to say hi and reintroduce myself ( lol). It's been awhile since I last blogged. I have been so busy with work and finishing up my applications for graduate school that I had to put extra things on hold. Also the weather in T dot has been crazy, its been cool, cold, snowing, or raining, and it's JAN.!

However, enough of the excuses!! I have more outfit posts coming soon, and a few thrift hauls that I am excited to share with you all. A week ago , I went to Value Village and got some major goods that were serious discoveries. I will have that post this week or next week. But in the meantime, I shall leave you with an outfit post that I did three weeks ago. It was something that  I wore to church when the weather was normal

Its pretty simple and just my  take on the wide legged dress trousers trend. I hope I inspired someone out there. So, until next time, Enjoy

Faux Fur Vest Part II & Leather Boots

Hello everyone, this is the first blog post of 2012!
Yeah! feels good to be in a new year, hoping that with it comes a wonderful fresh start.

This is what I wore to a christmas eve gathering. I was tempted to post it before the New Year, but thought I would just wait so I was not rushed. I had a good time over the holidays, but did not do anything really special. Anyways, as mentioned before this is what I wore for a christmas eve gathering. Yes,  I know, not very festive but I'm not a green or red kind of person. Also, as a result of the cool weather, I paired the dress with a faux fur vest , nylons and knee high boots

The dress had a very vintage feel and the peplum bottom added a nice flare. I also loved the geometric/ tribal like pattern of the dress.
Well that's it folks, will surely come back real soon.

Happy New Year!!! (An End of the Year Review & Blog Anniversary)

Happy New Year Everyone!! This is Sincerely Miss J's year end review.
Looking back, so much has happened; some great, some good, and some not so good.
However, these events have shaped me into the person I am today.
Thank you God for all that you did in 2011.

I also want to say happy blog anniversary to me, it was one year ago that I posted my first blog post.
Even though I have not put alot of effort into it, I never thought how great the benefits were.
By blogging not only have I been able to share with you my personal style , but it has given me the confidence that I lacked before. I'm a shy & private person at times, and never thought in a million years that I would be blogging.
I have also met alot of great people and thank you all so much for your kind words,
I guarantee that you shall see more of me in 2012 in a big way.
Love,
Sincerely Miss J
P.S this is a collection of SOME of my outfits, Enjoy

Holiday Jamming

Hey Everyone, Miss J is back with another outfit post. This one is from a christmas party that I attended a couple weeks ago. I'm not a dress wearing type of girl, but I do wear them when I have to or when I find something that I really like. For this dress, I fell in love with the colour and the fit. However, the dress was a pain because throughout the night it kept riding up when I walked, making it appear much shorter than it actually was. However, for $25 dollars on sale, I did not mind too much.
Anyways, I will be quite busy preparing for the holidays, working, and putting my energy into some other personal things, so I will like to wish all my fellow bloggers and readers a Merry Christmas if you do celebrate it.
I shall be back after Christmas, but before New Years

Outfit Information: Necklace: Fairweather, Dress: Dynamite, Heels: ? ( purchased 2+ years ago), Clutch: thrifted

Until Next Time,
Sincerely Miss J

Love this clutch

Hey Everyone, this is my newest obsession, a brown crocodile clutch. I received this amazing clutch from a friend who recently returned from Nigeria. I love the detailing, the colour and the craftsmanship. You all will definitely be seeing more of it.
Also, I hope you guys like the new heading, I was so bored of the old one. Anyways, until next time.
Sincerely Miss J

Furtastic

Hello everyone, another outfit post!! Yeah!! Anyways, the outfit is made up of a few trends: coloured jeans and faux fur.

I wore this outfit to a b-day dinner party for two of my friends, and then we headed out to a place that offered some live music. I actually ended up wearing different shoes to make it a bit more causal and for more comfort just in case we would be standing. I actually wore cambat boots instead, but the options are endless.

Outfit Information: Shirt: thrifted, Fur vest: Dynamite, Necklace: Fairweather, Coloured Jeans: Guess Warehouse Sale, Clutch: thrifted, Heels: thrifted.
Thanks again,
Sincerely Miss J
