Update and Natural Hair

Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well. I have been super busy, and a tiny bit stressed. I still work fulltime and started a stats course online, yes i know what was I thinking. I just submitted my first assignment just 20mins ago, and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but not for long because the next one is due next week. Anyways, just wanted to post another outfit. Its easy, and is all about layering for the cold winter months. I'm basically wearing a black long seelve top, a navy blue sweater, a scarf and a light jacket. However, the printed scarf is the main focus.

Also, if you have not already noticed i am wearing my natural hair, which never really happens very often. This particular day was my wash day, i took my hair out of my mini twists, and thought what the heck. Details, about my natural hair coming soon.

It's Fall and say hi to army green

Hey Guys, so this is yet another outfit post, i usually find these kind of posts the easiest to do than anything else. However, I will have a post about my natural hair journey real soon, but in the meantime, enjoy. I must say one of my favourite items  right now are my army green jackets. I love army green, because it works so well with so many colours, and textures. It's definitely a piece that you will use very often. I actually have two of them, one is long sleeves and the other is short sleeves. This is the short sleeves one pictured above and below. So, remember, when styling yourself keep it simple, and to your comfort level. Enjoy

Goodbye Summer!!

Hey everyone, so I was just laying around enjoying my short time off, when a thought just came to me. It's mid September, and it's starting to freeze out there! Therefore, no more summer, now onto fall. At first I was sad and not very amused, but a part of me missed the cool days. I love fall weather and fall fashion. Therefore, I guess this time of the year is bitter sweet for me.
Now, about 2 weeks ago we had some okay weather and i decided to attempt perhaps for the last time to wear something summery. So, i say this goodbye summer, we shall miss you.

Pretty Colours

Hey everyone, this is an outfit post of what i wore to church the other day, I had no vision, just kind of put it together. The yellow dress is one of my many favourite pieces because of its versatility. It can be worn alone, layered, dressed up, dressed down, and can be worn in the fall.

One year older!!! Giving many thanks to God

Hey everyone, this is another outfit post! I'm so sorry that i have been slacking on posting to the blog. I've been busy with my full time job, and with some other part time projects. However, no worries I will try my best to keep it coming.

Now onto some important news, I'm 25 now!! I turned 25 on the 25th of August, and let me tell you this, i'm still in denial. I feel like life is flying by, and i 'm not ready for it to go by this qucikly. Oh gosh, i'm so old!!
This year I decided to keep the celebrations low key, nothing but dinners. Therefore, I will like to take the time to thank everyone for the b- day wishes, the girls at work for surprising me with a cake during our night shift, and all my other budds who treated me out. Anyways, this was what  I wore for one of the dinner outings. It was simple, comfortable, and modest.
