Skin Care: May Lindstrom The Problem Solver Review

When I was pregnant my skin was glowing and clear. I loved how fresh I looked. Fast forward to a few weeks after giving birth and my glow and clear skin disappeared. I could not blame the change in my skin to giving birth only because I was also not giving much TLC to my skin.

When The Detox Market, a natural beauty based company approached me with information about their new Toronto store and the brands that they carried I was immediately intrigued by the  May Lindstrom: The Problem Solver Mask.  I had heard that it was a miracle in a jar and I was in the market for an amazing mask.

The Problem Solver mask is an all-natural product that claims to deliver extraordinary results in the first use. The unique formula brightens, heals inflammation and irritation, fades spots and hyperpigmentation, and treats and prevents breakouts. The product is ideal for people that struggle with severe acne, rosacea, psoriasis and all types of inflammatory disorders.

As per the instructions I blend one tablespoon of powder with just shy of one tablespoon of water to create a fizzing mousse texture. I take a brush with the mixed mask and then paint it onto my face. I immediately feel it going to work because there is a slight tingling. I keep it on for about 30 to 40 minutes until it dries and then I rinse my face with water by making small circles with the pads of my fingertips. After rinsing it off I usually spend about two minutes stroking my face in awe of how amazing it feels.

The Pros:

-The product does exactly what it claims to do

-It is an all-natural product

-I saw a reduction of my blackheads at first use

-My skin seemed to love the product and it felt and looked amazing afterwards after one use

The Cons:

-It’s expensive but you are given a good amount of product

-To some individuals the tingling may be bothersome. 

All in all this product has become part of my skin care routine. It truly is a miracle in a bottle.
